Excitement is building with just over a week remaining until Somerford’s Premier League Dressage Show 27th – 29th May.
With an increase in entries exceeding 2016 figures event organisers have been required to order 100 temporary stables, bringing the total available to 185. And are delighted to announce that the show will once again start a day early with classes taking place from lunch time on Friday 26th May.
This year Somerford Park welcomes Charlotte Dujardin to their exciting line up of competitors. Olympic gold medalist Charlotte Durjardin will be competing across all three days at Somerford Park with a selection of young horses.
This eminent figures heads up an all star line up of Britain’s dressage elite confirmed entries include; Michael and Maria Eilberg, Richard Davison, Charlie Hutton, Emma Hindle, Becky Moody, Matt Frost, Steph Croxford and returning winner from 2016 Georgia Stokes with SOS Talented Mr Ripley.
New to this year’s event and combining two of Cheshire’s most outstanding dressage shows – Somerford Park and Bolesworth – the Cheshire Crown a new award to owners of the horse with the highest combined percentage for the Grand Prix at the two shows, the award will be presented at Bolesworth in June.
